It's finally beginning...

Well here I am at Logan Airport right now and it is all finally starting to hit me. I am going to Spain and will not be back home until December; it’s bittersweet to say the least. I will be studying at the University of Granada as a student in the Hispanic Studies program. As a student in this program I will be able to take all of the classes that I would of had to take at Rhode Island College so this experience will not only be a way to authentically live in Spain but also finish my graduation requirements. I will be living with a family who I have learned very little about although the little information has made me even more excited! I am flying into Madrid and will be staying there for three days with other API students as we partake in orientation activities including visits to El Prado and El Escorial. I hope you enjoy reading about my experiences and looking at the pictures which I know I will be taking and uploading for everyone to enjoy!
